Jenna Fraser

Does your face feel like a mask you wear so that no-one can see what’s really going on? Would you like to talk to someone who is entirely on your side and only cares about what you have to say? I can offer a space that is entirely yours for you to express your feelings without fear of being judged, talked over or disbelieved.

I’m a person-centred counsellor with experience in anxiety, depression, social anxiety and low self-esteem. I have also found that my calm and grounded style fits well with those who have experienced early trauma. I like to work at the pace of my clients, to build a strong therapeutic relationship so they can feel safe and supported to explore their past, present and look to their future. It can be daunting reaching out for support, but it can be liberating too.

My Postgraduate Diploma in counselling is from the University of Strathclyde where I was trained in the Person-Centred approach. I am a Registered Member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work to their strict code of ethics. I work with adults aged 18 and over.

Special interest areas: Trauma from childhood, adult trauma and PTSD, self esteem
